Jana Putrle Srdić

Jana Putrle SrdićJana Putrle Srdić (b. 1975) is a poet and visual art producer.

Her poems are translated in 12 languages, including two books, and published in numerous anthologies.
Besides translating poetry from English, Russian and Serbian (Robert Hass, Sapphire, Ana Ristović, Sodobna ruska poezija / Contemporary Russian Poetry), she also writes art film reviews and intermedia art reviews. For years she used to hold literary conversations with writers in Ljubljana’s night club Daktari.
She worked as an art producer for several cultural organizations such as the Center for Slovenian Literature and Kapelica Gallery, at the moment she manages her own art group Institute for Arts Gulag:
